To maintain certification, our singing teachers undergo a program of continual improvement. Each attends vocal workshops and teacher conferences on technique, and studies individually with vocal professionals. Our technique applies to all musical styles and genres, whether it's Folk, Pop, Rock, R&B, Broadway, Sacred, Classical, Opera or Gospel our instructors will help you sing the songs you want.

Cause and Effect Teaching

Often, vocal instruction includes vague verbal descriptions of how to get the best sound and improve technique. You may have heard phrases like "put it in the mask," or "make a space in the back of your throat." At SING Voice Studios, we teach technique differently. It's called cause and effect teaching. Here's what we mean: We know that singing is an experience. It's something felt. So, we give you specific vocal exercises that gently induce (cause) correct vocal technique. You experience the sensation (effect) of correct technique clearly, and feel the results quickly. Because you feel and experience correct technique, you progress rapidly. It's essentially a case of muscle-memory. As you practice, the new physical sensations become strengthened until perfect technique is second nature. Then we apply the technique to songs!
